life is filled with ironies.
(just for reference's sake) irony: an expression or utterance marked by a deliberate contrast between apparent and intended meaning
now, didn't the so-called definition just further justified my point?
of course, there's more to it than just simple definition.
likewise, how could everything be based on Fact?
'Now, what I want is, Facts. Teach these boys and girls nothing but Facts. Facts alone are wanted in life. Plant nothing else, and root out everything else. You can only form the minds of reasoning animals upon Facts: nothing else will ever be of any service.'
all lit students, does this sound familiar enough?
now this brings us to the theme of Fact vs Fancy..
don't worry, i will cease to elaborate due to a severe lack in knowledge.

perhaps, they just can't tell because the situation may not call for further exploration. on the other hand, they may feel like there is something that's not-quite-right but can't quite figure out what it is. they search for the problem desperately, mope about it, cringe and lament.
are these worries uncalled for? or is there a particular reason why they have surfaced even?
i agree that i'm a lil schizzed out.
but surely there has gotta be a reason for everything!
everything's annoying me.

relationships and identities are associated with gestures.
if recieved and appreciated, then they become a language.
otherwise, they're futile and remain only as memories as they soar into the sky.

it suddenly dawned upon me that its actually time to feel the stress.
something which i've always ceased to feel, or rather, choose not to face.
and then during the wee hours of this morning
i actually felt the stress climbing all over me, sadly.
but seeing you today made everything relatively better for me again.
you never fail to bring smiles upon my face.
you never fail to brighten up my day.
(even if you were err.. not so early. heh heh)
good day today! :)

i think i'm currently suffering from paranoia syndrome.
i think.
suffered from it before
suffering from it now
and always will suffer from it
well, i think?

infatuation is when you think he's as sexy as Robert Redford, as smart as Henry Kissinger, as noble as Ralph Nader, as funny as Woody Allen, and as athletic as Jimmy Conners.
love is when you realize that he's as sexy as Woody Allen, as smart as Jimmy Connors, as funny as Ralph Nader, as athletic as Henry Kissinger and nothing like Robert Redford - but you'll take him anyway.
- Judith Viorst, Redbook, 1975
indeed, how true when applied to the general.

will you love me in December as you do in May
Will you love me in the good old fashioned way?
when my hair has all turned gray
will you kiss me then and say
that you love me in December as you do in May?

getting accustomed to certain things or perhaps even, everything, could result eventually in taking them for granted.
it's almost like, having/experiencing all these things were a routine, a full circle of daily rites. and this very circle is not expected to be broken or tainted with any unexpected lashes. laid out all prim and proper, there is, supposedly, in the eyes of the beholder, no lee-way to be made. one wrong step and you're heading for hell, thrusting yourself towards to the fires that will burn you instantly.
no room for mistakes
thus,
no room for corrections either.
the victimized would find himself expected to do everything willingly, undyingly. but when would it come to the point that the things done are no more done truly from the heart, done with meaning, like it was done the very first time?
first times don't mean a thing any longer
first times become insignificant
first times take on unrecognized identities
first times are now one of the many times
expected of you.
varying temperaments, perspectives and mindsets,
soon enough it will become a chore, a relentless duty.
things do change over time, things you've never thought would.
an inclined disposition, but whose to blame for the transient nature of it all?
the cynics can't help but sneer.
smirksmirksmirksmirksmirk.
